Replacing old smoke detectors

Smoke detectors were installed in your house during construction, this has been mandatory in new-build or renovated houses since 2003 according to the building code in teh Netherlands. It is less known that smoke detectors must be replaced every 10 years, after 8/9 years smoke detectors are often no longer reliable and the risk of false alarms increases. The fact that the smoke detector still beeps when you press the test button does not mean that the smoke detector is still functioning properly and will also sound an alarm in the event of a fire.

How old are your smoke detectors?

If your smoke detectors have never been replaced, they are the same age as your home. They can give false alarms due to age and dirt and dust that has become trapped in the smoke detectors in recent years. In the event of a false alarm, all smoke detectors in the house will then go into alarm together. Or they don't go off at all in a real fire ...

We have received a request from a resident in your neighborhood to replace the smoke detectors. This resident has had problems with the smoke detectors for some time. We assume that this resident is not the only one.

We proceed as follows:

• We will send a non-binding quotation for the replacement of the smoke detectors, you can then choose between 2 brands / models of smoke detectors
• Placing a carbon monoxide detector is also possible.
• If you have other wishes, please indicate them, ask for them when you contact us.
• After you have approved the quotation, we will make an appointment with you for the installation.

Are you interested in participating?

Send an email to replace@naqubo.nl with the number of smoke detectors that you want to have replaced, also state your place of residence. A photo of the current smoke detectors is useful for us. After this we will send a no-obligation quotation by email for the replacement of the smoke detectors, including all information about the smoke detectors and the price per smoke detector including installation. We do work with call-out costs but not with an hourly wage. The hourly wage is included in the price per smoke detector. You pay after we have installed the smoke detectors, by bank transfer or iDeal.

We do not shake hands, keep an appropriate distance and do not visit you if you or we are sick, cold or unwell.
